Great News - New PhD programmes launched!
Following a recent study to establish interest, the Educational Research Department at Lancaster University, UK, has decided to launch two new PhD programmes. Both are proposed to be undertaken over four years, as follows:
Part 1: (two years) involves the completion of a number of core and support modules. Following the outcomes of the study, a decision was made that delivery would be online, using a mix of synchronous and asynchronous techniques.
Part 2: (two years) involves the production of a 45 000 word thesis, working with a supervisor, and the viva voce defence of this thesis on completion.
Successful completion of the modules, without the thesis, could lead to the award of a Masters-level qualification.
Details of the proposed new programmes can be found here:
New PhD in Education and Social Justice
New PhD in Higher Educuation Research, Evaluation and Enhancement
